Horsemanship Classes

Teen Horsemanship Class (Summer)

  • Class 1 (Intro to Horses)

    Learning how to walk a horse our adorable mini horses is a special experience that teaches patience and care. Along the way, you also discover all the important steps involved in brushing them gently and carefully, building trust and forming meaningful connections with these gentle animals.

  • Class 2 (Care For Horses)

    Learning how to properly clean a stall and setting grain are important skills to the care of the horses. These tasks teach responsibility and attention to detail while helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for the animals.

  • Class 3 (Intro to Riding)

    Learning about the different parts of the tack and gaining a clear understanding of how to properly put it on the horse. Alongside this, we will also take time to practice and develop the skills needed to gently and effectively groom a horse, enhancing our connection and care for these wonderful animals.

  • Class 4 (Skills to Riding 1)

    Everyone gets a chance to take a turn getting on the horse and learning the beginning skills of riding, creating a fun and supportive experience for all.

  • Class 5 (Intro to Long Lining)

    Learning how to long line with our fabulous pony Sven is a wonderful experience that builds confidence and connection.

Horsemanship Class for Teens (Summer)

  • Ages: 13-16

  • Length of Classes: Each class is 1 hour long

  • Cost: $30 for 1 Class or $100 for all of the classes

Payment and a waiver must be signed before classes start.

If interested, we will have a Meet and Greet before class so you can visit the property and we can learn about the students’ needs to give everyone the best experience.

  • Class 3: Wednesday, July 23rd from 3:30-4:30pm
